Big Creek Distilling Co. is a family owned and operated craft distillery. The Ponder Family comes from a lineage of entrepreneurs, paving a way for their family to come. When the Father and Son team, Ken and Lee Ponder, decided to begin their own new adventure, Dahlonega quickly became the destination. Big Creek Distilling Co. was founded in 2020 with the goal to create a distilling destination and experience for Georgians and all alike. After much renovation and innovation, the distillery now proudly offers in-house Georgia distilled spirits, handcrafted cocktails, and a state of the art production facility and entertainment location. Yes! We offer tours and tastings daily, by walk-in or reservation! Tours are $20 per person and include a walk through of our state of the art facility and rick house, and concludes with a tasting of our three signature spirits.
Yes, we offer tastings of our signature spirits as well as limited releases. A tasting consists of 1oz samples of our spirits. For more events on tastings, click here.
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for teachers, students (must be 21+), military/veterans, local law enforcement and medical personnel, as well as exclusive discounts for members.
